Sophia was easy to work with; she explained all the options very thoroughly and was accommodating with a weather delay. It was nice to have this taken care of and not have to try and gather all the equipment, supplies and manage the kids myself. The gentleman who set up and refereed the nerf battle was great with engaging the kids and overseeing the games. We had the best experience with Backyard Starz! We booked pretty last minute and the weather forecast was iffy. They were so flexible and accommodating and thoughtful with a plan B if the weather wasn't going to go in our direction. But it did! They did all the set up and take down, it was quick, professional looked great. They also sent some back up DVDs incase we had issues with the stream (we didn't so all good). All the guests loved it. One mom text me that it was a little girls whimsical dream and the most fun her daughter had to date. We were concerned about a possible rainstorm and the owner did everything she could from allowing us to cancel to providing an indoor screen at no extra cost in the event of rain. Zulfiya was communicative from the jump and made the drop-off of equipment super easy. The actual set-up was incredibly easy as well, with thorough instructions that meant I could handle everything completely on my own. It was incredibly nice to not have to rely on anyone else for the initial set up. As far as the screening goes, it went smoothly without any hiccups! Even when my dog got the zoomies, she was easily able to navigate around the various cords that were necessary for the screening. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the event. When we arrived at the community pool, everything was already perfectly set up. The kids had an absolute blast floating in the pool on floats (provided by Backyard Starz) while watching Minecraft the Movie. It was such a fun, unique experience and kept everyone engaged the entire time. After the movie ended, Zulfiya and her crew handled all the cleanup. The kids were happy, the parents were relaxed, and the whole event ran effortlessly.
