Where can Nerf wars be held?
Nerf wars can be hosted in a variety of spaces, big or small. Your backyard, local gymnasiums, or parks are perfect settings. If you’re unsure about the suitability of a space, send us a photo or get in touch.
Can we play various games during the Nerf war?
Absolutely! We kick off with the classic “team battle” elimination, but you can choose from a variety of games such as “free-for-all,” “capture the flag,” or “protect the president.” Please inform us in advance about your preferred games to ensure everything is set up for your event.
Do I need to make a deposit for a Nerf war event?
Yes, we require a 20% deposit to secure your booking. The full balance should be settled the day prior to your event. We offer flexible payment options for schools, churches, HOAs, or corporate bookings.
How far in advance do I need to book a Nerf war event?
We recommend booking as early as you can once you have a date in mind. Even if the exact time isn’t set, securing your date with a deposit will reserve our equipment for you. Due to high demand, we cannot hold equipment without a deposit.
Can participants bring their own Nerf guns?
Yes, participants may bring their own Nerf guns. We recommend labeling personal guns to avoid mix-ups, as some of our models might be similar to those brought by participants.
What is your cancellation policy?
With our hassle-free rescheduling policy, you can reschedule at any time due to bad weather or emergencies. We’ll issue a credit that never expires. For a full refund we require that you cancel no less than 48 hours prior to your event.
What happens if it rains on the day of the event?
Should rain affect your event, Backyard Starz LLC will either reschedule to a new available date or refund your deposit. Rain calls are made within 12 hours of your event. We will not set up in rain but can accommodate if you have an alternative covered area.
Is there a delivery fee for Nerf war events?
Delivery is free within a 10-mile radius of our central location. For venues beyond this range, a delivery fee of $3 per mile applies.
Which areas do you serve?
Our services are available in Austin and surrounding areas, including Lakeway, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs, Lago Vista, Leander, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Hutto, Liberty Hill, and Georgetown. A delivery fee is applicable for locations more than 10 miles outside our central area.
